Driver Qualification & Hiring Standards
Every driver we bring on board goes through a rigorous qualification process. We verify driving records, employment history, and conduct thorough background checks. Our standards exceed federal minimums - we look for drivers who share our commitment to safe, professional operation. Requirements include valid CDL credentials, clean MVR history, and where applicable, TWIC card and Hazmat endorsement.
Comprehensive Onboarding & Orientation
New drivers at Palletized go through a full week of onboarding and orientation before they ever turn a wheel in revenue service. This intensive process covers company policies, safety procedures, equipment familiarization, regulatory compliance, and our expectations for professional conduct. We invest this time upfront because we believe preparation is the foundation of safe performance.
Data-Driven Safety Management
We leverage a business intelligence and data analytics program to monitor driver performance, identify trends, and proactively address risk. This technology gives our safety team real-time visibility into behaviors like hard braking, speeding, and hours-of-service compliance - allowing us to coach drivers before small habits become serious issues.

Escort & Oversized Load Standards
For oversized and heavy-haul moves, our escort thresholds are set earlier than what is required by law. We believe in building in additional margin - because when you're moving large loads on public roads, earlier action means safer outcomes for everyone.
